With India set to host the ODI World Cup later this year, premier off-spinner R Ashwin has urged the ICC to take corrective steps for a 'dew-free' tournament. The quadrennial event is slated for October-November this year in India, at a time when dew becomes a major factor in the evening, favouring the batting side mostly. India will be staging the entire tournament for the first time across different venues and Ashwin feels that the current Indian team has the quality in their rank to adapt to the home conditions and will be a tough team to beat.
